Travel Update: Emese Balint in Romania

Emese Balint, EGM’s European Director, recently participated in a summer camp hosted by a partner of EGM-Hungary‘s church in Romania. Check out her video update and read the testimony below!

“We had the blessing of seeing God work in the children’s lives but also in the teachers. I praise God for the way He showed Himself to us, how He created a strong and devoted team. God has, day by day, formed us as teachers. One of the leaders said, seeing all this and participating in the camp, that this was more valuable for her than one year in university. We just need to allow God to shape our way of teaching to become a teacher after his own heart.

We had a lot of fun, laughter, joys, prizes, games, discussion, adventures…but what was most important was that we experienced God’s life-transforming presence. But let one of the girls tell with her own words what she has experienced:

I was so amazed to see the miracle; the immediate change in her life. Those girls, who were fighting before, now were reading the Bible together. It was a true miracle. The day after, all of them wanted to live exactly the same miracle as their friend Bernadette. As they arrived home back from the camp, they shared their testimony in front of the whole church, praising God. Now, I am praying that God may strengthen and keep her faith, and help her to grow and bear fruit in His glory.
