Surrounded by war and turmoil in Ukraine, many children and families had no choice but to leave their homes. It was no different for eight-year-old Robert, who fled to Poland for safety from one of the most intensely armed conflicts in the territories. As children’s workers from a church in Poland ministered to Robert, the trauma from the war he had experienced was evident and it seemed there was no way to reach him. He was withdrawn and hardly spoke in the first few weeks. His drawings were of tanks and bombs, and he expressed an interest in the military. After a few months, Robert began to open up and was more calm and friendly. He became one of the most talkative and happy boys out of the group of children at church. God is working in Robert’s life giving him PEACE and joy.

Thank you for helping support Robert and children like him around the world!
