As a young boy growing up in northern India, Rajvir did not understand what it meant to be a Christian. He was raised with a non-Christian background, although he would go to a local church from time to time with his parents. When Rajvir developed a serious illness, his parents were overcome with fear and asked the children’s pastor to come and pray for him. The pastor prayed for God to touch Rajvir and it was not long before he was completely healed from his sickness! Rajvir’s parents were so thankful, and they both received Jesus as their personal Savior. From then on, Rajvir’s life began to change, and he joined EGM-India’s Children’s Fellowship where he learned about the love Jesus had for him. After hearing the story of Jonah from the Bible, he decided to obey Jesus and to dedicate his life to follow Him. Rajvir feels a PEACE in his heart now that was not there before, and he is growing daily in his faith in God.
