Welcome to Our New Website!

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our completely redesigned website! After months of planning, designing, and building, we’re excited to share this new digital home with you. A Fresh Look for a Growing Mission Over the past 30 years, Every Generation Ministries has grown from a single vision in Poland to a global network spanning 18 countries. Our website needed to reflect that growth—and more importantly, make it easier for you to connect with what God is doing through trained leaders around the world. The new site features a cleaner design, easier navigation, and a more compelling way to…

Children's Ministry: Lead by Example

I remember hearing tape recordings of the public figure’s private conversations and being absolutely shocked by the vulgar and crude language. In public he was dignified, even eloquent, and appeared to be a symbol of decency. Many people have been struck by the disparity between public persona and hidden character. Curtains have been pulled back in the lives of leaders only to find personal lives of immorality. Unfortunately, our society strives to separate what we say from what we do and who we are. This separation is contrary to the essence of the New Testament’s teaching on ministry and is not a good…

Summit 2015: March Madness at EGM

The EGM team has been busy! Every Generation Ministries had its own style of “March Madness” in the form of Summit 2015. The first ever international staff summit, simply called the Summit, was held in Southern California at the EGM-US office for two weeks in March. Staff members from all around the world took part in this ground-breaking, two-week workshop dedicated to moving Every Generation Ministries forward according to God’s vision. God was very much at work as the team shared in Bible studies, ministry reports from abroad, and prayer. For many involved in the Summit, it was the first…

Sharing the Word of God using Play-Doh

Miguel Angel Castellanos shared this story from an EGM leadership program at Iglesia Monte Sinai in Oaxaca, Mexico… Nine brothers and sisters in Christ, both young and old, participated in a children’s ministry teacher training at Iglesia Cristiana Monte Sinai. They were very attentive during class. I shared about the mission of Every Generation Ministries (EGM) and went through one of the Bible lessons from Jeremiah 18:1-6. I gave them each play-doh to make something that represented their lives. When they finished, the play-doh figures looked great. Then I took one of the figures in my hands and began to change it, molding it to an…

Children’s Ministry Training at Iglesia Latina

In April 2014, Pastor Federico Salas and his daughter, Ana, drove all the way from San Diego to Santa Ana to attend an Every Generation Ministries (EGM) children’s ministry training program. They enjoyed it so much that they invited EGM to the church he pastors, Iglesia Latina Emmanuel, to train the church’s 20 children’s ministry leaders in January 2015. Children’s ministry training a success! This children’s ministry training program was realized by several members of the Hispanic Ministries team. One highlight from the program included the participation of six high school boys who currently mentor several children. Another highlight was the…

Ukraine Update from the Front Line

We were blessed to Skype with Every Generation Ministries (EGM) Ukraine Director, Alexander Achkasov. EGM’s Eastern Europe Resource Team Director Igor Fridrikh translated for Alexander from Russian to English the concerns and fears his countrymen, and especially the children, are dealing with daily and his requests for prayer. Through all of the obstacles Ukraine now faces, he remains a faithful servant of Christ, and through his words, it is evident he puts his trust in Jesus Christ. Below you will find an update from Alexander and a transcription of some of the dialogue with EGM staff members. Ukraine Report and Prayer…

New Beginnings in 2015

2015 IS OFF AND RUNNING! Most of us have taken stock of the previous year and have already made new plans for the New Year. New beginnings are part of the world God created The four seasons cause us to think about new beginnings, as does the cry of a newborn baby. At the heart of the Christian message is the notion of being born again. (John 3) Every Generation Ministries has several National Ministry Team partners that are currently experiencing new beginnings. They are all associated with the birth of new leadership in the ministry: Argentina Susana Rodriguez joined the…

The Cox family starts Enduring Treasure Ministries

Joe and Julie Cox came to serve with Every Generation Ministries (EGM) in 2006. Joe was given charge over operations for the ministry’s international efforts, while Julie served in communications and curriculum development. At that time, EGM was working in six countries and faced some serious growth pangs. Together, Joe and Julie brought years of ministry and leadership experience, and have left an indelible stamp on EGM. Thanks in part to the Cox family, Every Generation Ministries has experienced an extraordinary period of growth; impacting the lives of children and children’s workers through churches around the world. In December 2014, after…

Why the Baby Jesus matters

In September, my wife lost her mother to liver cancer and Oleta Faye Earles went to be with the LORD. During the days leading up to and after her passing, our family received an outpouring of love in cards, e-mails, Facebook posts and the like. In all the beautiful correspondence, Marla and I noticed that there were two kinds of responses. Those who had not lost loved ones, and those who had. We noted that people who had lost loved ones wrote incredibly empathetic e-mails and cards, and seemed to know how we felt. It was apparent that they had experienced so many…

Season of Thankfulness

My wife Marla teaches at a local Christian School and every year at this time, staff members gather together all the coats, sweaters, shoes, shirts and hats from lost and found. The small mountain of goods belies the world of cavalier materialism that has been created unintentionally. Throughout the course of the year, children toss their shoes, backpacks and clothes in corners, leave them on the playground or just simply forget them somewhere. Familiarity breeds a kind of material contempt. It is readily apparent that the things they have are not highly valued or treasured. It is also apparent that thankfulness is in short supply. Things can be replaced and there is always more……

Fishers of Men: Where are all the Children?

I have long felt that Jesus’ recruitment of fishermen as His key disciples gave special status to fishing. The fact that He urged them to be fishers of men only further reinforced the importance of fishing. I should confess that I love fishing. One of my greatest joys is laying a fly line out on a lake or stream. Those of us who love to fish know that one of the great inventions of the last fifty years is the Fish Finder. Using modern technology, this gadget uses sonar technology to lead fishermen to the fish. Before its invention, you had…
