Welcome to Our New Website!

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our completely redesigned website! After months of planning, designing, and building, we’re excited to share this new digital home with you. A Fresh Look for a Growing Mission Over the past 30 years, Every Generation Ministries has grown from a single vision in Poland to a global network spanning 18 countries. Our website needed to reflect that growth—and more importantly, make it easier for you to connect with what God is doing through trained leaders around the world. The new site features a cleaner design, easier navigation, and a more compelling way to…

Children Are Excellent Teachers

Some of the greatest ministry being done in the world today is being done by children. Some of the most important lessons I have learned have been taught to me by boys and girls around the world. Sometimes we get so caught up in serving, teaching, pastoring and otherwise giving to children that we forget God uses them for His wonderful purposes in our lives. Children’s ministry is obviously ministering to children. However, children’s ministry is also God using children to minister to others. I was reminded of that this week, as I have held my newborn grandson for lengthy…

Travel Update: Emese Balint in Romania

Emese Balint, EGM’s European Director, recently participated in a summer camp hosted by a partner of EGM-Hungary‘s church in Romania. Check out her video update and read the testimony below! “We had the blessing of seeing God work in the children’s lives but also in the teachers. I praise God for the way He showed Himself to us, how He created a strong and devoted team. God has, day by day, formed us as teachers. One of the leaders said, seeing all this and participating in the camp, that this was more valuable for her than one year in university. We…

Talk is Cheap: Local Ministry Needs Local Funding

Words are nice. But often they don’t really say much. I recently celebrated my 20th wedding anniversary. I spent months planning a trip that included as much of what my wife loves as I could fit into the two days we had to celebrate together. And I spent money — a lot of money — on making it as special as possible. It was a joy to plan, and the money was a joy to spend. Why? Because I love my wife, and talk is cheap. I could have waited until the last minute, grabbed a card from Walmart and…

They Have God’s Full Attention

Four years ago, I completed a training session in Kisoro, Uganda. Several leaders asked me to walk with them to the nearby Potters Village Orphanage, run by the church. I was introduced to a little baby who was only hours old. His mother, a DR Congo refugee, had died in childbirth. There was no known father, grandparent or relative. He had nothing. His legal status was as a newborn refugee and with no family whatsoever. They asked me to pray for him; his name was Emmanuel. Saturday morning, I held my first grandchild, Kian, a precious little boy. At his…

VBS in Romania: A Four-Wheel Adventure

Last week, my family and I had the privilege of participating with EGM-Romania in a Vacation Bible School (VBS) program they organized in partnership with the First Baptist Church in Manastur, Cluj. This was the 15th year of VBS at this church. The theme of the week was “Four-Wheel Adventures.” The purpose of each Bible lesson was to help boys and girls to feel Christ’s love and the call to follow Him who is the WAY. It was a joy to see the 300 children discover what is the right WAY in life and decide to start, or continue, their…

Worshipping God with Pennies

The boy was young. He lived in a nation with great persecution. He was poor by anyone’s standards, but his gift inspired churches to rally together to advance the gospel. In 2016, EGM-Egypt saw the need to reach out to refugees in Jordan and Lebanon. They made plans to travel to the camps and share Bible stories with the displaced children. Just days before they were scheduled to leave, they learned the camps wouldn’t receive them if they didn’t bring tangible relief, something as simple as milk for the children. However, the funds weren’t readily available for this additional expense….

Travel Update: Oliver Cardenas in South America

Children’s ministry in South America is growing! Oliver Cardenas, EGM’s Latin America Coordinator, recently traveled down south to meet with EGM-Argentina and EGM-Chile. Check out his video update below:   Please join us in prayer for the following: Ask God to bless the children’s Bible curriculum published by EGM-Argentina. Pray for the children whose lives might be transformed through it! Pray that the leaders involved in Leadership Development Training in Rosario, Argentina would grow in wisdom and confidence as they practice the tools they learned in training. Lift up the Board of EGM-Chile as they begin the process of calling…

Being Shaped by the Potter’s Hand

I recently was reminded of the story of the great Potter, and how we are all in the Potter’s workshop. We are on His wheel, being shaped into His great image. The vessel is being transformed into something glorious for His use. On a recent short-term missions trip to Romania, I was reminded how God takes our brokenness and transforms it into beauty; how God is like an artist Who uses the worst resources to shape into something beautiful – a masterpiece. I realized with much humility that the story is not about the clay. It is all about the…

EGM Welcomes Benjamin Calderon as the Director of EGM-Mexico

One of my favorite passages in the Scriptures is found in the Old Testament. It is the story when God instructs the prophet Samuel to go to Bethlehem to anoint one of the sons of Jesse to become the new king of Israel. This is found in 1 Samuel 16:7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” I truly believe that this verse describes…

Every Child Deserves the Love of a Father

During my recent visit to Chile, a woman from a church in Santiago told me how children there are growing up in broken homes, where violence and abuse are part of their daily life. In Latin America, society tolerates the irresponsibility of men, based on the premise that it’s a mother’s job to raise her kids. As a result, many children go to bed without the embrace and love of a father. Children in Latin America need the opportunity to know that God is a loving father, and that they can have a close relationship with Him. Children need the…
