Ministry Spotlight – India

Across India, God is opening doors for children to encounter His Word and grow as disciples of Jesus. Through Every Generation Ministries (EGM), known locally as Jeevan Disha, churches are being equipped to disciple children in ways that lead to lasting transformation.  From children’s Bible programs to leadership training and new church partnerships, the EGM-India team continues to see encouraging evidence of God’s work, even amid significant challenges.  Ministry Highlights  Reaching Children with God’s Word  EGM India reached 840 children through Vacation Bible School (VBS) programs nationwide. Additional children’s camps and retreats have created opportunities for children to engage with…

Ministry Spotlight: Egypt

Known by Jesus: God at Work in Egypt  “Did He know me?”  It was a simple question from a 10-year-old girl named Nour, but for the EGM-Egypt team serving her, it was a moment they would not soon forget.  Mona*, a dentist in Upper Egypt, attended EGM Egypt’s ministry training and as she thought about the sick children she encountered at the hospital where she worked, God placed a desire in her heart to pray for them and care for them.  Over time, Mona gathered a team of volunteers who began praying together and visiting children in the hospital. Many of the children they…

Ministry Spotlight: Chile

In Chile, God is strengthening the ministry in beautiful and practical ways. EGM-Chile is investing in their own team development by equipping new board members, coordinators, facilitators, and special needs leaders. These growing teams will help support regional coordinators and provide clearer direction for the ministry’s continued growth.  At the same time, EGM-Chile is developing a new year-long training pathway for churches. Through seven focused lessons and training sessions, churches will be invited to grow more intentionally in children’s discipleship. A team of designers and editors is preparing the materials, while fundraising efforts are helping build support and excitement for the initiative.  The…

Ministry Spotlight: Syria

Sometimes the light of Christ is seen most clearly in small, faithful moments of care.  This summer, EGM-Syria has helped support churches across the country as they host VBS programs for children. Rooted in the theme “Salt and Light,” children are learning what it means to follow Jesus and reflect His love in their communities.  After only one year of ministry in Syria, 102 leaders have been equipped through DiscipleMakers training. Through their faithful service, approximately 720 children have already encountered the Gospel and learned about the love of Jesus.  In a place where ministry is not easy, we are celebrating every child reached,…

Ministry Spotlight: DRC

There are places where ministry continues even when the circumstances are heavy.  In the DRC, war, displacement, disease, and instability continue to create uncertainty for many families and communities. Churches in Eastern DRC are serving in a region where peace feels fragile, where new challenges continue to rise, and where daily life is often marked by hardship.  And yet, God is still at work.  Through EGM-DRC, church leaders are being equipped, parents are being encouraged, and children are hearing about the hope found in Jesus. In the last six months, the ministry has strengthened relationships with 142 churches, including 83 new church partnerships. More than 300…

Celebrating International Children’s Day

Throughout the month of June, countries around the world celebrate children in many different ways. In many of the places where EGM serves, churches and ministry leaders are using this season to encourage, celebrate, and invest in the children God has entrusted to them. Some are hosting special events. Others are planning outreach activities, camps, or community gatherings. In each place, we are encouraged to see children being loved, welcomed, and reminded that they matter deeply to God and to His Church. But as we celebrate children this month, we are also reminded of something important: Children’s Day may last…

Ministry Spotlight:

There are moments in ministry that remind us why presence matters. Not perfect circumstances, nor polished programs, but faithful people showing up with the love and hope of Christ.  That is what we are seeing in Ukraine.  At Girska Zupynka Camp in Transcarpathia, Western Ukraine, 39 children recently arrived with their widowed mothers or another caring adult. Each child carried a story shaped by loss, fear, and war.  Among them were two siblings: Roksolana*, 16, and her little brother Maksym*, 6 (see photo right.) They came from a village near Dnipro, right on the front line, where drones and shells fly overhead day and night. This…
