Celebrating International Children’s Day

Throughout the month of June, countries around the world celebrate children in many different ways.

In many of the places where EGM serves, churches and ministry leaders are using this season to encourage, celebrate, and invest in the children God has entrusted to them. Some are hosting special events. Others are planning outreach activities, camps, or community gatherings. In each place, we are encouraged to see children being loved, welcomed, and reminded that they matter deeply to God and to His Church.

But as we celebrate children this month, we are also reminded of something important:

Children’s Day may last for a day, but the call to disciple children lasts a lifetime.

In the video below, Brandon shares why this matters and how God is using children’s ministry leaders around the world to help children experience His love and become lifelong followers of Christ.

Around the world, faithful DiscipleMakers are walking with children week after week, helping them know Jesus, grow in their faith, and discover what it means to follow Him in everyday life.

Thank you for joining us as we pray for children everywhere to be seen, loved, discipled, and welcomed into the life of the Church.
