Jackline is an eleven-year-old girl who lived for years in fear and exhaustion, tormented by nightly nightmares that left her drained, struggling in school, and unable to explain her pain. Church offered little help, as there was no children’s ministry and adult services were beyond her understanding. Everything changed when she attended a three-day Bible camp during a school holiday. On the second day, her teacher, trained by EGM Uganda in the Deuteronomy 6 model, shared Luke 8:26–39 (the story of Jesus freeing a demon-possessed man) using drama, games, and simple, heartfelt teaching. Jackline recognized herself in the story; her own longing for freedom and asked for prayer. That night, she slept peacefully for the first time in years, and the nightmares gradually disappeared. Today, Jackline loves children’s church, enjoys school again, and lives as a young disciple who joyfully testifies that Jesus truly sets children free.
