Rakesh joined EGM in 2019 as the ministry’s first Asia Coordinator. In this role, he helps strengthen and support EGM’s work across Asia, bringing strong skills in problem solving, project management, and team leadership. He also serves as EGM’s Project Manager, helping coordinate special projects in the countries where EGM serves.

Before joining EGM, Rakesh spent 15 years using his leadership and management skills in the professional sector. He holds a Master of Science degree in Physics with an emphasis in Electronics from Mumbai University. His experience, education, and heart for ministry allow him to serve leaders with both practical wisdom and a deep commitment to seeing children grow as disciples of Jesus.

Rakesh and his wife, Kavita, have been married since February 2016 and have two sons. They live in Delhi, India, where they serve in their local church through experiential Bible learning and discipleship for children and youth, the church leadership team, the Bible teaching team, and a neighborhood fellowship group.
